Georgios I. Doukidis is an e-Business Professor in the Department of Management Science and Technology at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). He holds an MSc in Operational Research and PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the London School of Economics (LSE). At LSE he taught for nine years and he was also visiting professor at INSEAD. He is the founder of ELTRUN -the largest eBusiness Research Center of all European Business Schools- that has participated successfully in more than 40 international R&D projects with leading Universities and global companies. His scientific work has been recognized internationally with awards such as the European Case Study Award in "Knowledge, Information and Communication Systems Management" category and the European ECR award in "Retail Innovation with Business Analytics". Currently he is independent board member of ATHEX and partner at Corallia Ventures.
